Dumont is asking for MORE money than bonk - and yet he would undoubtedly be on the third or 4th line (no way he's taking the place of Ryder/Higgins/Kovalev/Samsanov on the top 2 lines)...so how is he going to produce enough points to offset his salary demands?

Do you know the meaning of the word "announced?" It means to tell people. In this case, to tell the press, the media. So no, you are wrong. When you say "his moves are usually announced on mornings instead of nights, that does NOT mean his offers are set in the mornings. You are simply backtracking here and trying to clean up the fact that you slipped up. I don't see an anglophone making the type of error that you made.
But if your knowledge with the media is good enough, you're supposed to know that a trade or a deal is USUALLY ANNOUNCED to the press later on in the day.
i've seen many deals announced in the morning. where is the relevance?

okay, i just read this whole thread. total BULLSHIT. he contradicts himself in so many places and people have even called him on it (ie: doum_99 about leaning towards a western conf. team and then saying he knows who the defenseman is).
think about this cardinaleye:
1) if you are truely a friend of Bob Gainey's, why wouldn't you let him know that someone on his legal team is leaking information on the Internet? I'm sure Bob would appreciate that and maybe even buy you a Happy Meal for the help. (and please don't give us this bullshit that you aren't telling on St.Patrick because you want the Habs fans to get info... you can give us the info)
